RESERVATION FAQ

  • we are open for dinner service thursday - monday, reservations available from 5pm-9pm / we are closed tuesday - wednesday

  • make your reservation on resy.com anytime OR call us at 831.431.6131 and leave a detailed message

  • we do not take reservations by email for regular dinner service

  • we start returning calls thursday at 4pm when our host arrives

  • we do not hold tables for walk ins, so reservations are advised.

  • 7-15 ppl are considered a regular dinner reservation but please call to book your table with a member of our team

  • groups of 16+ guests OR when a special menu is required ALL inquires must be emailed to events@homesoquel.com

  • when emailing our events team please include as many details as possible (ie: special occasion, number of people, preferred date, time, etc.)

  • outdoor dining is dependent on dry weather. we will do our best to move outdoors tables in, but we cannot always guarantee your outdoor reservation if it’s raining.

  • please leave your pets at your HOME, not ours

  • parking is available in the church parking lot across the street

MENU FAQ


  • what sort of food do you offer?

  • we offer a complete locally sourced menu from greens to animals, HOMEmade pastas, breads and beyond! our menu has minor changes daily, and major changes throughout the season as ingredients shift with the seasons and availability. we are a restaurant that strives to provides food that you might not cook at home, and we love to showcase what coastal california has to offer, which includes a lot of meat & seafood.

  • but really, how local are you?

  • our vegetables are grown just miles from our front door & our own backyard. our beef & pork is grass fed in point reyes, ca from stemple creek ranch. our chicken is pasture raised in pescadero, ca from fogline farm. our seafood is from the monterey bay or sustainably farmed on the west coast. we buy our fish directly from the folks who catch it, thanks for supporting our local economy.

  • how often does your menu change?

  • given that we work very closely with local suppliers, our menu is subject to change based on seasonal availability. however we often keep the main feature of the dish and re-invent the supporting elements as needed. for example, we will always have a HOMEmade gnocchi on our menu, but the sauce and vegetable composition will adjust throughout the seasons.

  • we see you have a lot of meat on your menu, do you have vegetarian options?

  • we care deeply about our non-meat eaters. we offer a wide range of seasonal vegetarian sides and salads, and always a vegetarian pasta entree. these options are always changing depending on the seasons and the chefs creativity!

  • do we have gluten free options?

  • yes, we offer a gluten free pasta option and guess what? our fried chicken is gluten free!!!!

  • what can i eat if im vegan?

  • most of our vegetables and salads can be made vegan. we offer a vegan pasta daily and will often have a vegan entree option available.

  • do you offer take-out?

  • no, we are dine in only.

WINE FAQ

  • what sort of wine do you offer?

  • we work very closely with california wineries who are SIP Certified, local, biodynamic and organic. we are excited to showcase california’s amazing vintages and offer a deep selection of well rounded classics in addition to varietals and vintages that are rare, unique and incredibly delicious.

  • how often does your wine selection change?

  • similar to our food menu, our wine selection will rotate often based on varietal and vintage availability. however we will always have a selection of common varietals (pinot noir, cabernet sauvignon, sauvignon blanc, etc.) supplied by a variety of local wineries.

  • do you have a corkage fee?

  • yes, our corkage fee is $25 per bottle. however we waive the corkage if you also purchase a bottle at HOME during your visit.

  • what about the rest of your beverages?

  • we offer draft beer, kombucha and cider all from santa cruz based vendors for a completely local experience!
